There are two different ways that I've noticed that tamales are made. The kind you get at a restaurant is wrapped in banana leafs and is cylinder shaped. The kind that Rosa makes is also wrapped in banana leafs but, is pillow shaped. Which I think is the El Salvadorian way of making them since she is from El Salvador. I think that they both taste about the same and I was wondering which kind of tamale you would prefer. I would prefer both of them because I like the way that both of them taste.
